My Approach

This group is informed by the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, a compassionate, experiential approach to understanding our inner world. IFS views each of us as having different "parts" that hold emotions, beliefs, protective strategies, and life experiences. Pregnancy often brings many of these parts to the surface—perhaps a part that feels excited, another that feels anxious, another that questions whether you're ready, or one that longs to care for yourself in new ways.

Throughout the group, we'll gently explore these inner experiences with curiosity, helping you develop a deeper relationship with yourself while also finding connection with others who are navigating a similar transition

What to expect

  • gentle grounding

  • open group discussion

  • opportunities to share (never required)

  • reflection and emotional processing

  • support from both the facilitator and fellow group members

This is not a psychoeducational class or lecture.

Instead, it is a collaborative process where members help create a space of authenticity, curiosity, and connection.
